Bullet For My Valentine
Video on the bottom page.
Seeing and photographing Bullet for My Valentine live as they celebrated 20 years of The Poison was nothing short of legendary. From the first note, the band launched into their classic punchy, melodic metalcore riffs that have defined a generation and touched the hearts of so many—including mine. The crowd erupted with emotion, some screaming every word, others crying tears of pure joy as those unforgettable melodies echoed through the venue. Frontman Matt Tuck delivered a performance packed with grit and heart, spewing out every lyric with ferocity and giving the fans exactly what they came for: pure, unfiltered chaos. Drummer Jason Bowld’s thunderous hits rattled the room, sending vibrations straight through your chest, while bassist Jamie Mathias threw himself into every moment, delivering backup vocals with intensity and making wild, expressive faces that matched the music’s madness. Guitarist Michael Paget was an absolute force—his solos slicing through the air like a whirlwind, igniting a wave of screams and headbanging across the floor. The energy was electric, the sound was massive, and the atmosphere felt like a homecoming for a band that has shaped so many musical journeys. It wasn’t just a concert—it was a celebration of legacy, emotion, and the timeless power of heavy music.
