Boundaries

Catching Boundaries at House of Independents in Asbury Park was nothing short of a full-on hardcore meltdown. From the moment they hit the stage, the band went absolutely apeshit—unleashing a level of chaos that turned the venue into a war zone. The crowd was a tidal wave of bodies, stage dives, and circle pits, with fans launching themselves off anything they could climb. At one point, nearly 20 fans swarmed the stage, screaming every lyric with bloodthirsty energy, turning the room into a frenzy that felt more like a riot than a concert. The breakdowns hit like a sledgehammer, each riff ripping through the venue with surgical violence that made you want to throw fists and furniture. As a photographer, capturing this carnage felt like trying to frame a lightning storm—you just had to hang on and shoot fast. Boundaries delivered one of the most unhinged, raw, and electrifying sets I’ve seen in a long time. This wasn’t just a show—it was a detonation.
